Where the Engineering Council of South Africa is firstly there to protect the public against incompetent engineering professionals, the 40 engineering voluntary associations (VAs) are there to represent and support the engineering professionals in specific areas through e.g. publications, courses and other services.

SAWomEng@network will host its first set of workshops in November.
